PUERTO RICO
Puerto Rico is a Caribbean Island and unincorporated U.S. territory with a landscape of mountains, waterfalls and the El Yunque tropical rainforest. In San Juan, the capital and largest city, the Isla Verde area is known for its hotel strip, beach-bars and casinos. Its Old San Juan neighbourhood features colourful colonial buildings and El Morro and La Fortaleza, massive, centuries old fortresses.
Puerto Rico is a popular holiday destination, the island is known for its white sandy beaches and Coral Reefs and common pastimes include Snorkelling, Diving, Surfing and Sailing. On the south coast, the city of Pornce has a mixture of architectural styles from art deco to neoclassical. It’s also a gateway to the Toro Negro Forest, a popular hiking spot. Off the east coast, there is a Vieques Island and is renowned for its blue-green Bio-luminescent Bay, which appears to grow, plus its wildlife refuge where horses roam freely. This island is also known for salsa music, as well as the regional dished like Lemon Asado (Roast Pork). The best time to visit Puerto Rico would be from Mid-April to June, right after the busy winter season and just before the rainy summer. Spring weather is also very pleasant, barely escaping the mid-80s on most days.

Mare St Clair is just footsteps away from one of the most beautiful beaches in Puerto Rico. It is from here that you can explore the white sandy beaches of Isla Verde.
